We can all learn to improve the way we handle life’s challenges and become more resilient. Whether you are having difficulty managing anger or just having a rough time, having healthy coping skills will help you get through tough times. Coping skills allow you to better tolerate, minimize, and deal with life’s stressful situations. Managing your stress well can help you feel better physically, emotionally and help you perform at your best.

It could be that you have a set of coping skills you already use but maybe not all of them are healthy. Unhealthy coping skills set up problems for us down the road. It is is important to establish healthy coping skills that will help and not hinder.

There are numerous interventions that over time you can learn and apply effectively as you need them. Helping you understand better ways to cope with stressful events is a service that I include in each session.
